NEW BICYCLE FACTORY PROJECT

Timeline: 2019-2021
The Factory will be the largest producer B-Twin Bicycle for Decathlon in Central and Eastern Europe.
They will produce 1.5 MM /year classic & electrical bicycles.
It is a green field project composed by 10 000 sqm production building (painting, production & assembly areas), 10 000 sqm warehouse and 3000 sqm offices, a restaurant, many relaxations area and a gym. The project includes infrastructure extension (roads, platforms, walkways, and bicycle ways), utilities extension, outlaying buildings, landscaping architecture works with park and lake for recreation and a mini-football field.

Zuba was offering Professional Project & Construction Management Services together with 3rd Party Quality Check on site.
The PM Support started very early (as we always recommend for best results) in the conceptual phase and during PUZ development. We developed together with the client the Early Design Theme for the project, we did the prequalification for the design company, then picking the design company based on BVOA (best value option analysis), design reviews, making sure that the design package is clear, complete and in line with the client needs.
Further on we guide the client through prequalification of the execution companies, tendering process, choosing together the General Contractor, verifying and input in Construction execution plan, in Safety plan, planning and communication, quality checks, schedule management, cost management, weekly reports during execution and at the end, final handover to the client and operation people. Zuba offered PM Support also for production line installation and commissioning.
