The Civil Engineer works closely with Construction manager and site teams to daily follow up construction and provide expert advice on implementation challenges on quality and safety aspects.

Our Civil Engineers are responsible for the following duties:                                                                                                                                    

• Oversee design and construction aspects of the civil projects
• Review and approve project drawings
• Provide input on tendering process and contractor selection
• Coordinate contractors on site and advice on civil engineering issues
• Make sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications
• Provide weekly reports with the overall progress of the project
• Hold a daily follow-up meeting on construction progress and ensure key players allocate appropriate resources to deliver against the agreed schedule
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
• Preparation of “As-Built” Documentation
